WHAT: Patterned after the popular television show The Amazing Race, teams will race around a 1 mile cross country course that includes up to 8 fun-filled stations. The clue cards provided at each station directs the team to perform a task (game, relay, obstacle course, etc.) before proceeding to the next station. The team that completes the tasks and reaches the finish line with the fastest overall time is declared the winner. Contestants should be prepared to get a little dirty and wet - it's part of the fun!
To ensure fairness and safety of all involved, some of the tasks may be slightly modified for youth and senior participants. Teams are allowed to purchase Time Saver Tokens and receive a 1 minute deduction for every additional $5.00 submitted (up to 4 minutes). Tokens can be purchased online or at the race. The course layout is spectator friendly to allow family and friends to tag along and take photos for the scrap book. This is a rain or shine event!
